So there was Jesus, buying a couple of loafs from the Jerusalem Bakery. He pays, and off he goes to the hungry public. With the heavenly device of his, he copy-pastes 1000 breads and all the people are fed.
All of a sudden, the bakery owner approaches, mad like a british cow, and shouts at Jesus: The loafs are protected by copyright, you have no right to make illegal copies. It is really not fair to use your technology like that. It is really unfair for my business....
After a long court debate, and legislation reforms throughout the empire, Jesus is banned, the baker patents the new technology and loaf copies become legally available to the public, at discounted rates, via what is called spotify pastries.
And all the business goes on, making money out of thin air, because money is all that matters.
Where do you stand?
