But it me to blame big time. I was supposed to collect the tickets from Victoria to Gatwick for father and cousin with my debit card and ref. number!!!
BUT! Last week I colected mine and my wife's with the card and it didn't ask for the Ref number. So although I got the Refs with me, I had the feeling that I wouldn't neet them. I wasn't sure I had them!
When the stupid machine asked for the Refs (I think that's because I then had 2 bookings on the system, one for them and one for me, for this Friday), I paniced. I failed to find the printed booking in my bananabag, I failed to realise that my phone needed syncronisation with my exchange (which I could have done using the free Victoria Tube station WiFi) and all I did is asking the Southern Ticket services to find my booking.
They couldn't find it and I ended up paying for 2 new tickets 15 pounds each.
And now I am claiming back the 5 pounds for each ticket I didn't collect.
So in the end dad and cousin paid 15 pounds each for the train to Gatwick instead of 5.
